My name is Kevin O. Santiago. I am 23 years old. I am from Puerto Rico. I have a family that I love with all my life. They have taught me the values that I have today. My parents are Areliz and Abimael. I have 1 sister named Yarelis N. and my brother Derek A and Girlfriend Marlye Francis. My first years of elementary school were close to my home and where my sports life began. After completing this stage, continue intermediate studies with a high average and thus go on to high school for one year. The 2 years that I needed to finish were by modules because I dedicated myself full time to the sport that I love so much. It was two years where I had to travel to many towns far from my home to train and play. From a very young age I was always in the sport of baseball. My passion for baseball meant that for a time I was part of an athletic team where I could develop as a track athlete. At one time, that discipline led me to be the national champion of Puerto Rico where I was part of a team that traveled to the Dominican Republic to represent my island of enchantment Puerto Rico. Then came the signing of a college scholarship outside of Puerto Rico in baseball. After one semester I transferred to another university at KCKCC where I was fully awarded a scholarship and I was able to finish my two years of studies satisfactorily and with good statistics in baseball. I am currently studying, and I belong to the Texas Wesleyan baseball team. For me it is a blessing to be in a place where they give me all the support and confidence to feel at home. First, I thank God for always taking care of me and my family who, although in the distance, are always supporting me and watching over my well-being. From a very young age I have had a very clear goal and that is to become a professional baseball player. I know I have a long way to go, but I am working so that in the not-too-distant future I can meet that goal that I long for.

A little about me is I play basketball at Texas Wesleyan, and I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ. I don’t think anything is unachievable or has a limit because through Christ anything is possible.
